Why I Created This Course

I remember the first time I sat down to try to write a blog – it was 2011. The topic was cross-cultural communication, and the outlet was Harvard Business Review. I had never written a blog before and had no idea how to approach it.

Fast forward 10 years and I’ve written hundreds of blogs and articles for Harvard Business Review, Forbes, Inc.com, and many others. These publications have enabled me to reach an entirely new audience with my work. They also have created unexpected and lucrative opportunities.

I’ve been approached for paid speeches, webinars, and consulting engagements – all because of the articles I’ve written. And I am also frequently contacted by people who tell me that my writing has actually made a difference in their lives – which, for me, is the best result of all.

I’m often asked to share the secret “formula” that I use to write articles quickly and effectively. And that’s why I created this online course

What Does the Course Cover?

Testimonials

  • Andy did a great job in putting this course together–which is not surprising, given his experience in writing for managers and his passion for helping people out in practical ways. The course is well-organized, broken into nice, usable chunks of information, and compiled in ways that make it easy for the user to return to key points or lists later as a reference. It is also engaging and accessible, and the stories and interviews are also helpful. I recommend it highly.

Andy’s self-paced program is very accessible, easy to follow, practical, and enjoyable. It’s a great way for novices to dip their toes in the water, but even seasoned writers will find tips and insights they can use. • I strongly recommend Andy Molinsky’s online writing course.  The modules had very valuable insights and tips and were engaging and motivating to help me get started and keep going with my writing.  I especially appreciated the personal experiences that Andy and the other expert interviewees offered.  I will be going back to this material again and again to start new articles and fine-tune others.  All in all, it was a very good investment.

  • A quick note to express my appreciation for the succinct and valuable insights I gained from your online writing course.  I write a monthly column for senior homeowners on the overlooked potential of integrating housing wealth (home equity) in the financial and retirement planning process.  Your guidance has enabled me to get their attention and address more effectively the real issues that concern them. Thanks again.
